You think you know what your in store for
You think you have it figured out
Sweet on the outside
A smile that makes you want to die inside
Whispers that make you shiver
Innocent looking as a child
But on the inside waits to be seen
Something you have not encountered
It will take you by surprise
Shock and hold you still
No one knows what is in that shell
you have to look hard to find out
Inside is an evil you have not seen
It can be so satisfying
Are you ready for the
Devil in an Angels Body
They say looks are deceiving
They were not wrong
Lips that taste sweet
But bring trouble like you never seen
Eyes that can pierce into your soul
Make you weak at the knees
Such a flirt and tease
But no one can tell the truth
Hypnotized by the swing of the hips
Dancing on the floor no one can look away
No one knows what is in that shell
you have to look hard to find out
Inside is an evil you have not seen
It can be so satisfying
Are you ready for the
Devil in an Angels Body
A touch that can paralyze you
Make you bend to the Angel's will
You never know what hit you
Once this Devil has gotten you
There is no halo or horn to tell
The Devil's secrets will always be unspoken
Flip of the hair and you are under the spell
No escaping once you have been captured
Trouble has you and you will fall
But the hurt will feel so good
No one knows what is in that shell
you have to look hard to find out
Inside is an evil you have not seen
It can be so satisfying
Are you ready for the
Devil in an Angels Body
Can you handle the devil inside
Is it worth the touch of the angel's body
Watch out for the
Devil in an Angel's Body
Are you ready for the
Devil in an Angel's body

If I gave you a moment
If I gave you a moment
What would you do with it
Could you make things right
Would you tell the truth
In that moment could you
do what you needed to do
Make things right
Fight with all your might
Make this moment count
You can't go back in time
If you had a moment
What would you do
Drink your coffee and sip your tea
think you did right by somebody
Soon you will see
How well you have done
what will your final grade be
Can you be happy with it
Live with the guilt
Turn around and see the damage
An accident in slow motion
You can't turn away or stop it
It's to late to change it but what if
If I gave you a moment
What would you do with it
Could you make things right
Would you tell the truth
In that moment could you
do what you needed to do
Make things right
Fight with all your might
Make this moment count
You can't go back in time
If you had a moment
What would you do
You rewind in your mind
Play it over wish to re-record again
But you can't do another take
You already printed it
It's out in the world now
The moment has passed
It will always last
It might be forgotten
But it may not be forgiven
No do overs in this
BUt if you had a second chance
What would you do with it
How would you handle it
If I gave you a moment
What would you do with it
Could you make things right
Would you tell the truth
In that moment could you
do what you needed to do
Make things right
Fight with all your might
Make this moment count
You can't go back in time
If you had a moment
What would you do
It goes and it comes
You say what you think they want
But do you feel that way
Times change so do we
Hard as it is to believe
Say you do for others
What happens when the timer buzz's
Do you stay true or do you run
Promises don't always come true
Broken and bruised we become
Tossed around so much
Jaded from so much stuff
If I gave you a moment
What would you do with it
Could you make things right
Would you tell the truth
In that moment could you
do what you needed to do
Make things right
Fight with all your might
Make this moment count
You can't go back in time
If you had a moment
What would you do
Hit replay in your mind
Pause and hold that moment
Wish what you could change
Know it's never going to be the same
Hold on to your words
Use them with care
Stand up, climb to the top
see your moment clear
Make it count when you can
Cause in that moment that's all you get
If I gave you a moment
What would you do with it
Could you make things right
Would you tell the truth
In that moment could you
do what you needed to do
Make things right
Fight with all your might
Make this moment count

Whispers on the Wind
My lips to your ears
Never made its destination
Lost in a constellation
Some where they are still alive
That's how they become
Whispers on the wind
A flood of memories
Breeze caresses your cheek
Sparking words lost in time
Flying in space
A ride of a lifetime
On re-entry you discovery
Whispers on the wind
Whispers become your words
When they have lost momentum
They can become lost in perception
No longer correct communication
When it becomes a
Whisper on the wind
Hearts beat on and on
Strength from within you hold on
Waiting for messages time and time
Listing everything in your mind
Darkness may be a friend
Light might be an enemy
You will always have
Whispers on the wind
Hidden times in full view
Puzzle pieces in the wrong places
Zippers unlined
Busting at the seams
Remember the good things
As bad ones come to be
Everything will eventually become
Whisper on the wind
Whispers become your words
When they have lost momentum
They can become lost in perception
No longer correct communication
When it becomes a
Whisper on the wind
It all becomes
Winds full of whispers
Never made its destination
Lost in a constellation
Some where they are still alive
That's how they become

Butterfly
I started out so small
All bundled up and kept warm
You checked me out
Made sure everything was okay
You held me close and you said
One day you will grow
learn everything you need to know
You'll bloom out of your cocoon
You'll grow and fly always
My beautiful butterfly, someday
You tried so hard to teach me
What I needed to know
Tired to protect me from the world
No matter what I did you was there
You'd give me a hug and would say
One day you will grow
learn everything you need to know
You'll bloom out of your cocoon
You'll grow and fly always
My beautiful butterfly, someday
Now we look back in time
Search our memories for good times
I've learned my lessons good and bad
You'll always be there with a hug and a helping hand
Now I look at you and I say
Today I have grown
Learned everything I need to know
I'm coming out of my cocoon
And now I'm flying away
I'm a beautiful butterfly today
Beautiful Butterfly has flown away
All bundled up and kept warm
You checked me out
Made sure everything was okay
You held me close and you said
One day you will grow
learn everything you need to know
You'll bloom out of your cocoon
You'll grow and fly always

Raining All Around
I'm sitting in a lonely room
Wondering what the hell I am going to do
So overwhelmed
My head spinning around and around
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine Threw the dark clouds
You put your arms around me
Kiss my cheek
Somehow you always make me feel better
Your my light through it all
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine through the dark clouds
It's just too much
It's just to hard
Your always by my side
You always make it seem right
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine through the dark clouds
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine through the dark clouds
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine through the dark clouds
Your my ray of light
Wondering what the hell I am going to do
So overwhelmed
My head spinning around and around
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine Threw the dark clouds
You put your arms around me
Kiss my cheek
Somehow you always make me feel better
Your my light through it all
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine through the dark clouds
It's just too much
It's just to hard
Your always by my side
You always make it seem right
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine through the dark clouds
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine through the dark clouds
It's raining all around me
I feel like I am drowning
But I see the sunshine through the dark clouds
Your my ray of light

Never Came
Look at the stars, see them burn
So beautiful in the night
Wishing to have been one
To burn the pain away
The way you have changed me
It scares me deep inside
I just want you to go away
Can I jump so high
Leave you behind
Cry at night, your my tears
Throw them away
I wish you never came
An infection that has taken over
no medicine to make it better
Cut me open and take you out
or are you to deep for me to be a cured
can never recover from the poisoned touch
The pieces are far to damaged
No healing can be done
Can I jump so high
Leave you behind
Cry at night, your my tears
Throw them away
I wish you never came
Electric in my head
turning on and off at will
feelings I don't want
they run through me
Stop me, control me, like a puppet
I don't know what to do
I need to be cleansed of you
Can I jump so high
Leave you behind
Cry at night, your my tears
Throw them away
I wish you never came
Inside every part of me
I wish you never came
Let you burn in the stars
wish you never came
Cry, throw away my tears
Jump so high
Leave you behind
I wish you wasn't here
So beautiful in the night
Wishing to have been one
To burn the pain away
The way you have changed me
It scares me deep inside
I just want you to go away
Can I jump so high
Leave you behind
Cry at night, your my tears
Throw them away
I wish you never came
An infection that has taken over

The Effects
Time ticks on and my mind goes array
Thoughts are carrying me away
I worry about what will happen
my choices affect so much
Time will tell me what to do eventually
But I am not sure I can wait that long
I wonder if I can figure it out as I sing my song
Ripples in the water are our choices
They run across so much
Flap my wings and be selfish
But I can't help but wonder what Tsunami might come
I can't bring that down on anyone
Which way should take off
Everyday we just make choices
Not knowing what they do
We think they might not hurt anyone
But in a way they effect everyone
I don't want to cause rocky waters
I don't want to sink someones boat
But choices have to be made so I think as I go on
Ripples in the water are our choices
They run across so much
Flap my wings and be selfish
But I can't help but wonder what Tsunami might come
I can't bring that down on anyone
Which way should take off
How do we live knowing
That we have caused pain someplace
Broken relationships become of our choices
At times it is hard to just listen
But they keep telling me to put me first
Be selfish its worth it
Not sure if it truly is
Ripples in the water are our choices
They run across so much
Flap my wings an be selfish
But I can't help but wonder what Tsunami might come
I can't bring that down on anyone
Which way should take off
Ripples, wings flap
Winds change
It's a fact it effects
Everything
