Buried emotions

 I stand alone in the crowd

Screaming and no one can hear me

What can I do to make it through

When did I become to tiny

I need it to be known

It has to to be done

It can't be kept inside

My emotions are real

They are being lived right now

Trying to hide them away

Trying to put them underground

It will just make them grow brighter

And scream so much louder

I been fighting the past for so long

Hiding in false happiness and TV scripts

I can't do it anymore

Have to have my own things to adore

I need it to be known

It has to be done

I can't keep myself locked away anymore

My emotions are real 

I'm living them right now

Trying to hide them away

Trying to put them underground

It'll just make them grow brighter

And scream that much louder

I'm not something that can be kept in the dark

Only pull out the fake me

The world has to see it all

The good, the bad and everything in between

All that makes me a human being

Take it or leave it 

This is real and now

I need to be known

It has to be done

Can't be kept inside anymore

My emotions are real

And so am I

Going to live them, not bury them
